ISC Analytics Specialist I (Finance)



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team. This multifaceted role is crucial for our continued profitable growth, as you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our operational insights and AI models. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, machine learning, and operations to transform raw data into actionable intelligence.

You will be part of HONEYWELL Building Automation Concurrent Engineering organization, reporting directly to our Sr Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineer and you can work out of our Atlanta, GA or El Paso, TX location.As an ISC Analytics Specialist I here at Honeywell, you will drive data-driven insights to optimize operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and develop analytical solutions within the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization. You will report directly to our Operational Intelligence and Digital Transformation Director, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, Ga, or El Paso, TX location.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Technical Skills:
    • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python is a must.
    • Data Engineering: Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS S3, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Synapse) is highly preferred.
    • AI/ML: Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Experience with machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
    • Big Data: Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
    • Data Visualization: Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable business insights.
    • Detail-oriented and proactive learner.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in analytics or supply chain roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data management practices.
  • Experience in a similar industry (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices for MLOps.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).
  • Data Engineering:
    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to ingest, process, and transform large datasets from various sources.
    • Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes for efficient storage and retrieval.
    • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
    • Implement data governance policies and best practices.
  • Operations Intelligence:
    • Collaborate with operation teams to understand challenges and data needs.
    • Develop and implement data visualization dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
    • Use data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in operational processes.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize supply chain, logistics, production, or other operational functions.
  • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning:
    • Work with stakeholders to identify and define problems that can be solved with AI/ML.
    • Engineer features from raw data for use in machine learning models.
    • Develop, train, and deploy predictive models (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance) to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models, ensuring they remain accurate and relevant.
