Compliance Manager - Fair & Responsible Banking (Construction)
Position Description:
The primary function of the Compliance Manager-Fair & Responsible Banking is to coordinate the credit union's development and ongoing implementation of certain Fair and Responsible Banking Programs. This position requires compliance responsibility and subject matter expertise for the areas of Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Truth in Lending (TIL), and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
As needed, the Compliance Manager will serve as a primary consultant for organization-wide compliance awareness and management, requiring a mastery of many, varied regulations, and a strong awareness of available legislative and compliance resources.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a member of the second line of defense, assess, investigate, and mitigate Ent's fair lending risks and provide first line support as required.
Aid first line of defense with questions and situations on fair lending risks. Perform follow up on open fair and responsible banking compliance issues and observations.
Using Ent's GRC software, administer periodic fair lending risk assessments, comprehend results, and mitigate fair lending compliance concerns that may arise.
Complete periodic UDAAP, HMDA, ECOA, TIL, and FCRA self-assessments, and provide timely, meaningful information regarding level of quality maintained, trends and risks identified and provide recommendations for improvement.
Supervises staff to include mentoring, professional development, work review, and annual performance appraisals. Meets regularly with staff to communicate objectives and establish deadlines.
Minimum Formal Education Required for this Position:
Knowledge consistent with Bachelor's degree in Pre-Law, Business, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related.
Minimum work experience:
7+ years' financial institution experience in the areas of Operations, Lending or Regulatory Compliance or as a practicing attorney to include 5+ years working in Fair Lending.

Environmental, physical and psychological requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, currency, or coin, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Starting salary is at $83,158.40+
