Work Activity Coordinator (Full-time) Downtown Pittsburgh, PA. (Healthcare)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Work Activity Coordinator will oversee work experience activities and participants at designated work sites. This role will partner closely with other agency team members associated with the City contract, as well as, frequently communicate and receive functional supervision from the external City team to provide quality service delivery for participants.. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the facilitation of program operations and activity coordination, including but not limited to program setup and implementation, orientation, etc. and support of staff, participants, work activity sites and other stakeholders to ensure program goals and objectives are met.
  • Implement necessary educational, behavioral, and/or developmental supports, including any identified assistive technology, as needed to promote activity engagement and transition to employment.
  • Maintain accurate records including, but not limited to client participation activity, dates and timesheets and other EARN required documentation.
  • Articulate and make recommendations to other team members and stake holders on needs and preferences of the participant.
  • Report on overall program status and progress per established guidelines and timeframes, including but not limited to time and attendance, payroll, goal plans, etc. needed to support the participants and program meeting established goals.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:30am - 4:15pm OR 8:00am – 4:45pm ) varies depending on department needs.

External Hiring Range: $47,000/year

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 3 years' of experience in social/human services required. OR
  • Associates' Degree AND 1 year of experience in social/human services required.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates are expected to provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to first day of employment.
