The Clinical Pharmacist is within the Disease Decisions Support group located in the South San Francisco, CA office. This group is responsible for obtaining, analyzing, interpreting, and applying source information on drug-side effect, drug-disease, pharmacogenomics, boxed warning, drug-pregnancy, drug-lactation, drug-geriatric, specialty drug data in national and international regions where FDB is doing business.
Works independently under the broad supervision of a team lead, supervisor or manager. Researches source drug-side effect, drug-disease, pharmacogenomics, boxed warning, drug-pregnancy, drug-lactation, drug-geriatric, specialty drug data, makes detailed observations, analyzes data and interprets results for possible inclusion within knowledge base content. Directs and performs data entry tasks and verifies data entry performed by team members. Able to independently plan and prioritize order of completion for work assigned. Reliably completes assigned tasks. Participates in ongoing education efforts relative to existing and new work procedures to be performed by self and other team members. Provides in-services and presentations to internal and external customers as necessary.
