Corporate Underwriting Trainer (Finance)

We are currently looking for a passionate trainer to join our team! The Corporate Underwriting Trainer will initiate and manage training to support all of the training needs for underwriting roles and systems.
In this visible role, you will be responsible for facilitating training sessions, working with the instructional design team to provide content and design input, and evaluating program effectiveness. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with Regional & Home Office leadership to conduct needs assessments, updating training resources and materials. The position will be based in one of our offices listed below, with some overnight travel.

Experience
Required- * Three years of commercial property and casualty underwriting experience; Professional certifications a plus.
- * Three years of training experience, either formally or informally (preferably in a Commercial Insurance setting). Knowledge of virtual training, blended learning and e-learning preferred.
- * Experience in business analysis and project management.
- * Intermediate knowledge of implementing corporate training programs in a large, complex workplace setting.
- * Knowledge of insurance business and terminology.
- * Intermediate knowledge of Underwriting systems and business operations.
- * Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- * Intermediate knowledge of learning management systems.
Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better in Business or related field
- Bachelors or better in Insurance or related field
- Bachelors or better in Human Resources or related field
