Who We Are
HVCH is a 25 bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a 10 bed geriatric psych unit, and a Rural Health Clinic with Family and Pediatric services. We have over 325 employeeswho serve the residents and visitors of rural Logan, Ohio. HVCH has various ancillary and 24-hour emergency care services offering excellent health and well-being aide to Hocking County and surrounding areas.We are nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hocking Hills Region in southeastern Ohio. We are affiliated with OSU Wexner Medical Center and part of the Ohio State Health Network.

We Require
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.Prior experience in healthcare or hospital admissions or clerical duties preferred.Friendly, welcoming personality.Solid customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations.Ability to multitask including speaking with patients and entering information into computer systems.Ability to use computer, credit card machine, calculator, copy machines, and other office equipment.Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as MS Office, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.Ability to stay focused and complete work in a fast-paced environment.
In This Position, You Will:
Complete registration and pre-registration processes for all patients including verifying insurance and demographic information and entering it into the computer.Collect and record payments from patients.Provide direction and general information to visitors and patients entering the hospital.Answer hospital phone system and direct calls accordingly.
