Warehouse Operations Manager (Information Technology)

What you will do:

• Responsible for executing Clarios third-party warehouse strategy.
• Responsible for development and implementation of new processes.
• Responsible for eliminating waste using continuous improvement activities.
•  Collaborate with Supply Chain, Plant Operations, Sales and Finance teams to increase efficiency, optimize the end-to-end supply chain, and reduce cost within the network.
   

How you will do it:

• Lead  development  and  implementation  of  new  processes  to  improve  efficiency  and  consistency  across  all providers, especially those processes tied to potential new Warehouse Management Systems.
• Become subject matter expert for current and future Warehouse Management Systems.
•  Proactively  manage  changes  in  strategy  and  regulations,  identify  potential  risks,  and  devise  contingency  lans.
• Assure a consistent flow of materials, meeting Clarios plant Supply Chain, and Metals team requirements.
• Proactively detect and resolve possible disruptions.
• Support warehouse compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Create  lines  of  communication  and  build/facilitate  successful  relationships  with  and  between  warehouses, plants, Supply Chain, Metals Team, Compliance and I.T.
•  Collect  and  analyze  metrics/data  from  various  systems  and  warehouse  providers,  and  lead  providers  to improvements. 
• Gather and interpret relevant performance data to develop and implement warehouse vendor scorecards. 
  Review scorecards with providers and manage improvement efforts. 
• Develop limited but effective daily reporting between Clarios plants and warehouse providers.
•  Develop and manage improved methods for collecting data and tracking for warehouse utilization by facility, including new and used battery inventory, and component inventory.
• Create and implement cost savings projects, new opportunities, and warehouse closings.  Manage closing functions to reduce excess cost while minimizing operational interruptions. 
• Manage the accuracy of provider invoices and approve as appropriate.

What we look for:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, project management or related field.
• +7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and warehouse management.
•  Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma mindset.
• Experience with WMS (warehousing management systems)
• Strong problem-solving skills, identifying problems, evaluating solutions, and implementing the best action.
• Strong in communicating data points quickly and accurately, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Located in Glendale, WI
• Travel approximately 20%

Preferred:

• Fluent in Spanish
