SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
ANSER is seeking qualified personnel to conduct exercise project officer and planning support on behalf of HQ PACAF A3YE. Exercises will be planned and executed in support of PACAF and US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) objectives across the USINDOPACOM area of responsibility, and in support of warfighting, Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Response (HA/DR), and Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) operations.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Neptune Hawk Operational Planning Lead Project Officer will support Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major Command (MAJCOM) Headquarters (HQ) and Component Numbered Air Force (C-NAF) exercises, engagements and assigned operations at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. The Neptune Hawk Operational Planning Lead Project Officer will provide management and consulting expertise to PACAF staffs responsible for program management, operational employment of airpower, joint operations, Special Operations Force Integration, intelligence, logistics, Air Operations Center (AOC) operations, deliberate and contingency planning and supporting programs, operational employment of air combat weapon systems, and other functional project and support areas.
Project Officers will plan and coordinate Field Training Exercises (FTXs), Command Post Exercises (CPXs), and other training events that prepare tactical and operational forces for possible future contingencies. Project Officers will plan exercise operations and logistics using an analysis of exercise objectives & tasks, PACAF unit capabilities, deployment requirements, forward operating location assessments, and resource constraints. Specific Qualifications:
Requires active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain SAP/STO
Minimum 3-years of experience planning USAF Major Command–level, or equivalent exercises
Minimum 3-years aviation background (Pilot/Navigator/Air Battle Manager/ Aircrew Member)
Recent (within last 5 years) experience with tactical aircraft operations and exercise and experiment coordination and execution.
Be familiar with Nellis AFB operations, USAFWC organizations, and Nevada Test & Training Range (NTTR) infrastructure
Experimentation management experience
Must have Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) or operation contingency planning experience
Have working knowledge of USINDOPACOM/PACOM Theater Campaign Plan (TCP) and PACAF Strategy
Possess a working knowledge of the Pacific theater, and an understanding of the relationships and general interactions between each nation within
Experience as a staff-level exercise planner, and experience planning/executing CPXs/FTXs within the PACOM AOR
Knowledge of the operational and logistical support required for exercises, deployments, and mobilizations and familiar with TPFDD nomenclature
Strong interpersonal/social skills; proven staff officer/contractor support excellence
Must have working knowledge of current Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or higher and three years of relevant experience OR AAS with 5 years of relevant experience
