Purpose:
~ Position is multi-faceted to include eco-compliance and eco-mobility initiatives.
~ Key responsibilities: You are responsible for helping advance HMA as an EV and mobility leader at a time when the automotive industry is undergoing significant transformation. This role will take on high-impact projects to position the company for this next era of vehicle technology solutions.
Major Responsibilities:
~ Responsible for developing and implementing strategic objectives and goals for the Eco-compliance and Eco-mobility Group.
~ Analyze relevant activities and recommend and execute positions to executive management. Scope will range from agency regulatory proposals regarding greenhouse gas, fuel economy, zero emission vehicle regulations to eco-mobility solutions such as EV Subscription and related operations.
~ Ability to partner cross-functionally. Collaborate with diverse teams within HMA/HMC to ensure timely resolutions, process feedback and create actionable tasks.
~ Create strategies to cultivate relationship with relevant stakeholders in areas of eco-compliance and eco-mobility.
Authority:
~ Manage eco-mobility services and operations
~ Support eco-compliance strategy and policy development and advocacy
~ Communicate issues to management, including presenting to executives
~ Interact with vendors, dealers, and partners
Education:
~ Must be a high school graduate.
~ Bachelor's degree
~ Graduate or professional degree preferred.
Related Experience:
~ Five plus years of eco-regulatory experience preferably within automotive industry
~ Mobility experience in operations and/or launch management preferred
~ Three plus years of experience in managing diverse projects
~ Two plus years of experience with cross-functional leadership
~ Automotive dealer, telematics and technology experience a plus.
~ Two plus years of accounting experience desired.
~ Accounting and startup experience a plus.
Skill/Knowledge:
~ Self-motivated and driven individual with the ability to learn new skills and grow into the role
~ Strong regulatory research and analysis abilities
~ Familiarity with business operations and delivering program results in areas of usage growth, product performance, and client satisfaction
~ Communicate priorities and status to executives and business partners
~ High level modeling and projection skills
~ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
~ High level of proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
~ Must have a driver's license and qualify for a lease vehicle (for insurability purposes).
