Territory Sales Manager - Texas (Marketing)
Position Summary: Technical sales position responsible for growing revenue and share in a territory through direct sales efforts and coordinated team support at existing and targeted accounts. The territory is located in Texas.
Responsibilities:
· Continuous, personal improvement in professional sales skills, including:
o Market coverage: growth funnel/pipeline, account planning, and account management
o Personal Selling skills: positioning, objection handling, negotiating and closing
o Expertise in Dymax products and customers' manufacturing processes
o Consultative Solution selling and Value-Added selling
Skills/Qualifications:
· B.S. or B.A. degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related discipline strongly preferred
· Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B direct sales experience in a technical industry, preferable in Medical Device or Aerospace. Experience relating to specialty materials is highly desirable, light curable adhesives is a plus
· Self-motivated, energetic performer with solid analytical, planning, communication, and computer skills
· English & Spanish is a plus
· Proven ability to develop new accounts and new business opportunities
· Sales in a manufacturing environment
· Successful experience calling on small companies to large multinational corporations
· Highly developed communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
· Positive and professional attitude under pressure
· Ability to actively listen, empathize and present to potential and current customers
· Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
· Commitment to delivering and continuously improving excellence in customer service.
· Comfort and ability to meet with potential customers while developing and presenting sales presentations.
