Senior Analyst, Tax Processing (Finance)
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Focus on resolution of complex transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines and/or processes. Full ownership for one or more processes, reports and/or procedures. Analytically and procedurally competent, representing the team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
Emerging as an expert in a specific skill set but remains focused primarily on daily execution. May be in final stages of studying for relevant professional qualification or accreditation.
Implementation of new operational procedures following changes in tax policy or law
Validation of client tax status and eligibility for relief
Handling client and tax authority technical queries
Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role)
Technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
Delivers a work product that requires less revision
Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

The successful candidate will benefit from having:
College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is required. Experience in Tax services in Global Custody or a Tax Utility is preferred.
Experience of dealing with Tax Authorities is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Functional / Industry Knowledge is required.
Analytical and problem solving skills are required.
Knowledge of International tax reclaims markets and Tax documentation.
Knowledge of Global Custody & Fund structures.
Knowledge of Process Management & Operational Risk mitigation
