Lead of Digital Marketing Strategy (Marketing)



We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Lead of Digital Marketing to strategically execute our digital marketing initiatives, drive e-commerce sales, customer acquisition, and brand growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing integrated digital marketing strategies, with expertise in e-commerce sales, website performance, digital media strategy, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and customer engagement. Job Type: Full-time 

Rate: $150,000-$190,000/year

Location: Remote

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase e-commerce sales, customer acquisition, and customer lifetime value (CLV) across Schurz properties.
  • Optimize the customer journey and conversion rates on the website through continuous A/B testing, UX/UI improvements, and personalization strategies.
  • Develop and manage compelling messaging through website, e-commerce and digital channels.
  • Partner with product and technology teams to ensure website architecture supports SEO best practices and delivers a seamless customer experience.
  • Lead the development and execution of performance marketing campaigns (paid search, display, social, programmatic, and affiliate marketing) across all 6 locations to drive acquisition and engagement.
  • Manage and optimize media spend to ensure maximum ROI across all channels.
  • Identify and test emerging digital channels and strategies to enhance customer reach and engagement.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and search rankings.
  • Manage paid search campaigns (SEM) to drive high-quality traffic and optimize cost per acquisition (CPA).
  • Conduct competitive analysis and keyword research to inform content and advertising strategies.
  • Develop and execute data-driven email and CRM strategies to increase acquisition and retention.
  • Lead segmentation, automation, and personalization strategies to improve email open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive insights to optimize campaign performance.
  • Utilize data to identify opportunities for growth and areas of underperformance.
  • Collaborate across multiple locations with field marketing to develop specialized skill sets.
  • Work directly with agencies of record to drive results and achieve implementation target dates.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with product, customer experience and sales teams to align digital strategies with business objectives.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of experience as a leader in digital marketing with a focus on e-commerce, media strategy, and customer acquisition.
  • Proven track record in driving significant revenue growth through digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, attribution modeling, and customer segmentation.
  • Expertise in SEO, SEM, email marketing, and digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn.).
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data platforms (CDP).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience in fiber internet or telecommunications industry with both B2C and B2B
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using customer data to inform decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
