Job Summary for the Program/Activities Director:
To develop, assess and evaluate activity program to meet the needs of a diverse assisted living population. Arrange daily options for residents including routine activities, outings, crafts, dances, music, educational classes, seminars and other similar opportunities. Categories include daily exercise, nutrition, intellectual stimulation, arts and sciences, travelogues, outings, spiritual development and residents' individual history and experiences. Qualified candidates should have prior experience working with residents with Dementia or Alzheimer's.
