The Impact You'll Make in this Role
The IT Applications Lead will serve as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on
manager, overseeing a team of functional and technical analysts dedicated to
supporting Solventum's Health Information Systems business. The incumbent will bring
strong project management and technical expertise to ensure the successful
implementation, delivery, and ongoing support of enterprise applications.

  • Provides direct supervision to assigned employees through leadership, training and development, allocating work assignments, reviewing progress in achieving objectives and enforcing corporate policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for analyzing current and future business needs in relation to system requirements, identifying potential gaps, evaluating options, and ensuring delivery of solutions.
  • Provides technical knowledge and functional systems analysis for Order to Cash applications and operational environments.
  • Oversees the ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of business applications to ensure operational efficiency and adoption across the user base.
  • Consults with organizational heads to provide appropriate solutions for their business needs.
  • Responsible for providing details on system setups and any necessary validation documentation to Global Compliance teams (IT audit, IT SDLC, Regulatory, Trade, SOX and GxP).
  • Leads the development and implementation of functional or cross-functional projects, plans, and programs in support of business and strategic plans. Proactively communicates project direction and status to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business or related field (completed and verified prior to start). AND A minimum of 7 years of IT experience, including 5 years of implementing and supporting comprehensive Order-to-Cash solutions within a global business environment is required. This includes expertise in contract management, sales order processing, pricing, taxation, billing, invoicing, master data management, and reporting.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED AND A minimum of 11 years of IT experience, including 9 years of implementing and supporting comprehensive Order-to-Cash solutions within a global business environment is required. This includes expertise in contract management, sales order processing, pricing, taxation, billing, invoicing, master data management, and reporting.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • 3 years of previous supervisory and/or leadership experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Experience in SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.).
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing IT professionals.
  • Knowledge of business application infrastructure, such as servers, databases, middleware, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation).
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional environment and influencing higher levels of the organization.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green belt (or other process improvement disciplines).
  • Familiar with PM tools, e.g., JIRA.

  • Remote

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
