Forklift Operator (Finance)
Position: Forklift Operator – Direct Hire
Sit-down and Standup forklift available
Pay: $20/hr+ starting with pay rate increases every 6 months! Opportunity to earn overtime as well!
Shifts:
- 2nd shift – Monday to Friday 3:00pm to 11:00pm
- 3rd shift – Monday to Friday 11:00pm to 7:00am
- Weekend shift – 11 to 11, am to pm or pm to am. Work 24 hours and paid for 32 hours. Overtime will be required to cover weekday shifts, as needed.

Our St. Joseph, Missouri distribution center charges, packages and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 2000, now employ more than 280 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through The United Way, Camp Quality, Second Harvest Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.
Summary:
You will be responsible for moving and transporting materials and units to specific zones and locations through the plant operating various forklifts along with other equipment.
Primary Duties
You will be moving raw materials, parts, and packing materials to various locations through the plant.
You will assist with training of new hires once you have been fully trained.
You will utilize forklifts to pull, stage, and remove materials.
You will verify counts on incoming and outgoing material.
May handle empty skids, pallets, and miscellaneous dunnage.
Supply production lines with necessary materials.
Moves miscellaneous scrap material.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
6+ months of previous forklift experience in a manufacturing setting.
Must have been previously forklift certified on either a stand up or sit-down forklift and open to getting recertified.
Comfortable with working overtime as needed along with potentially working weekends.
