Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team in the Indianapolis regional office. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the coordination of field operations driving projects to successful completion through a safe work environment, quality construction, effective LEAN planning & scheduling, cost management, collaboration with project stakeholders, and superior customer service. The ideal candidate will also possess a desire for growth, long-term thinking, and relationship building skills.
Responsibilities:
• Prioritize our Zero-Injury Safety program
• Understand drawings, specification, and terms/conditions of owner contract and subcontracts
• Support the Quality Leadership System (QLS)
• Understand and develop site logistics
• Assist with project schedule including day to day supervision and coordination of construction activities
• Demonstrate working knowledge and ability to plan/track production of self-performance manpower
• Ability to perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
• A degree in civil engineering or construction management
• 1 years of commercial construction experience including internships and co-ops
• Advanced training in construction management preferred
• Ability to work non-traditional hours
Abilities:
• Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
• Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25lbs., seeing and reading
