Assistant Director, DD Meaningful Day Services (Education)

The Assistant Director of DD Meaningful Day Services will facilitate community-based day services and support the development of innovative community development services for people with I/DD at the Columbia based center (Gerwig building) as well as the Baltimore City Day Program site (the Humanim American Brewery Building). The Assistant Director of DD Meaningful Day Services will ensure the development of quality, individualized community day activities by maximizing inclusive opportunities in the community. Key functions of this role include maintaining community partnerships related to volunteer and recreational activities, ensuring services are designed to be person-centered with individualized schedules for each person, and act as a key contact with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of effectively managing Direct Support Professionals, exercising good judgment while utilizing strong conflict resolution skills and working collaboratively in a diverse environment. The manager must also exercise initiative and think creatively in improving processes to drive results.
