Primary Function of Position:
We are seeking a Sr. Business Systems Engineer to support the Program Management Office (PMO) team, focused on tools and process initiatives supporting new product development for medical devices. The Sr. Business Systems Engineer will be responsible for the technical design and functional implementation of key initiative enhancements of the New Product Development Project and Portfolio Management platform built using Broadcom's Clarity (CA PPM), Oracle SQL, and Tableau. This position will utilize technical skills to successfully design and develop the solution, provide overall guidance to the Business Owners, and support implementation and maintenance of the solution. This person is the system expert -- mapping business processes to tools implementation and configuration, building portlets in CA PPM, writing scripts and web applications in Python/JavaScript, supporting data exchanges between database systems, ensuring appropriate testing and records of transactions, creating and running reports, and providing guidance and support to IT administrators, process stakeholders, and all system users.
Supporting multiple initiatives, the candidate will interface with stakeholders, user groups within the company, outside vendors, and partners to ensure successful design, deployment, validation, and on-going execution of responsible processes and tools.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of and experience with new product development for medical devices or high technology products, enterprise level portfolio tools, lean process development, software development, data analytics, and change management. The candidate is a collaborative communicator, detail-oriented, a problem solver, and skilled at building engagement and adoption for new tools in fast paced engineering organizations.
