VERSATILE PROCESSING
Metal Sorter/Handler (Manufacturing)
Summary: The Metal Sorter/Handler will support recycling operations by overseeing the process and separating various scrap materials. This position will move material from one location to another and will also be involved in the process of extracting and loading the material to be transported.

Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Tools and Equipment Used: Motorized on and off-road vehicles and equipment, including excavator, miniexcavator, front end loader, crane, tractor, utility truck, fork-lift, production machinery, saws, equipment trailers, specialty-trailers, broom, common hand and power tools, shovels, hand-held mobile radio, and other equipment and tools not listed may be used.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OSHA 10 Hour General Industry Certificate (Preferred)

The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
