Lead Finance Systems Analyst (Finance)

As a Lead Finance Systems Analyst on the ILI FAC Transformation Team, you'll partner with finance colleagues as well as technology professionals to advance our transformation agenda. You'll act as the primary interface between finance and technology, identifying business requirements, designing and building automated solutions, and leading process transformation projects-including the transition of key workflows into platforms like Anaplan.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid or virtual and may require your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business, dependent on the candidate's location. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of technology-driven solutions to modernize and automate financial processes within ILI FAC.
  • Build, deploy, and optimize models and applications on enterprise planning platforms (e.g., Anaplan), driving process transformation and efficiency.
  • Write, maintain, and optimize code/scripts to automate data integration, reporting, and workflow processes (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar).
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to translate finance requirements into robust digital tools and automated solutions.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert, coaching team members and championing best practices for digital transformation.
  • Analyze complex financial processes, identify opportunities for innovation, and recommend new tools or approaches to enhance capabilities.
  • Document technical designs, workflows, and user guides to support sustainable operations and knowledge transfer.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Advanced proficiency in coding/scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar) for process automation, data integration, and workflow optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying models or applications on enterprise platforms (such as Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, or similar); hands-on Anaplan model building experience is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, data structures, and integration techniques for scalable, automated solutions.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills applied to complex technical and data challenges.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, collaborating seamlessly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience leading or supporting digital transformation and automation projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a continuous learning mindset and a passion for innovation.

It'd be a plus if you had:

  • Anaplan Model Builder certification or equivalent advanced platform experience.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data tools (APIs, ETL frameworks).
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $118,700.00 to $176,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

  • Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level .
