What you will do
The Data Analytics COE is a diverse team of technology enthusiasts enabling our global Enterprise Solutions group.
Delivery Leads work with Data Architects Business Stakeholders to build Analytics that meet the needs of the business adhering to JCI's Data Strategy which promotes enterprise first.
How you will do it
Own business/functional relationship on behalf of the CoE
Support Functional and Business Consumers in developing the business case for the analytics solution, and provides consultation on how to best leverage analytics technology as an enabler to drive value
Act as CoE co-ordination point to business for Demand Planning, and help influence the priorities (Annual, planned and unplanned)
Responsible for structuring portfolio (projects / backlog / other) so that it meets balance of CoE capacity / capabilities aligned to business need and timing
Orchestrate design thinking and ideation sessions for the functional and business consumers
Co-responsible (along with Build Lead and Scrum Master/Project Manager) for the end-to-end delivery of analytics solutions
Work closely with key business stakeholders to generate use case hypotheses
Drive proactive knowledge sharing within analytics (CoE Product Owner Community of practice)
Keep up with technology advancements to ensure the best business solution is provided by working with solution and technical architects
Lead discussions (partnered with the Data Scientists/AI/ML Specialists) on application and implementation of Advanced Analytics (predictive modeling, scenario planning, “what if” scenarios, etc.)
Liaise with their respective analytics business function to stand up the new function that includes working with the Business Lead to define the service catalog, organization design, talent assessment, and the spoke launch communications. Accountable for managing backlog on behalf of spoke.
Ensure backlog is visible, transparent, clear, and shows what Scrum Team will work on next. Prioritizes (with input from the business) backlog to best achieve goals and missions
Optimize value of work the development team perform
Empowered to accept user stories as ready for deployment
Accountable for end-to-end solution delivery for the business functional team
Manage the team of developers and analysts to deliver a solution (team could be coming from a matrix organization based out of India resources)
Bring in a team of technical architects as needed to help with the governance process and ensure components are deployed and reused appropriately
Enable Product Scrum Teams to deliver solutions and build subject matter expertise within the team for that functional area
Provide technical leadership and innovation across specific aspects of analytics solution delivery and development
Work with Project Managers to define project plan (e.g., project delivery tasks, milestones) and coordinate the alignment of dependencies within the project
Resolve workstream-specific technical risks and issues identified by the Project Managers
Ensure knowledge transfer to application and AMS support teams
Drive benefit realization and delivery of intended results in partnership with the project
Support Project Managers on mitigating risks, resolving issues, and escalating to Steering Group and Program Manager Sponsors as appropriate
Verify with Business Partners, Operations, and Information Security that the solution meets quality and performance requirements
Ensure all the right technical teams have been involved in the planning, design, development, execution, and governance of the projects
Work with vendors and suppliers to evaluate options for solutions and services ensuring external requirements and features are incorporated into solution designs
Drive continuous improvement
Will assist Solution Delivery Leader in detailed level estimation as part of Initiate and Planning Phase as required
Provide end-to-end delivery services specifically for platforms, applications, services and tools for the relevant business areas

What we look for
Required
Minimum of 10 years' experience in working in Data & Analytics
Excellent communication or stakeholder management skills.
Experience in waterfall and agile mythologies
Strong organization and people management skills
Willingness to work in a complex environment
Ability to deliver complex projects with minimal supervision
SQL skills
Preferred
B.S. or MSc in Software Engineering/Computer Science or similar
Experience in the Azure platform
Experience in developing reporting solutions using Power BI
Experience in developing Analytics solutions
