San Diego office of our client seeks employment litigation associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will be defending employers in individual, class action, and PAGA actions alleging wage and hour violations, as well as defending allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Will be drafting employee handbooks as well as advising employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws. Handling all aspects of trial from responding to the complaint to taking cases to trial. Prepared to respond to complaints, draft discovery, draft dispositive motions, take depositions, prepare cases for trial, and conduct direct/cross-examinations at trial. Must be admitted to practice law in California.
