Training Specialist (Finance)

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Training Supervisor, will coordinate new hire schedules and activities and facilitate training. Areas of responsibility include ensuring that all administrative training offered to staff meets all contractual requirements for topic, content, delivery, and documentation. Focus will be on meeting the educational needs of TriWest employees, particularly those needs relating to Medical Management and Operational knowledge and expertise.

Education & Experience

Required:
• High school diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of experience working with CareRadius or similar medical management system
• Experience in training delivery, serving as a subject matter expert or team lead

Preferred:

• Associates Degree (AS) Degree in Business Management, Education, Communication, Behavioral Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with CareRadius

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver new hire training for key functions of the business.
• Coordinate and deliver training to aid in the professional development of administrative staff, including, but not limited to, such topics as customer service and additional training content as needed and/or requested.
• Assist in coordinating resources for all new hire and ongoing training.
• Assist with training department-specific needs, including the compliance with the department policies and procedures, maintaining required training documentation, participating in process improvement meetings, and other duties as appropriate and requested.
• Deliver training through a variety of methods, including: asynchronous online courses, classroom instruction, synchronous desktop training and one-on-one sessions.
• Participate as a member of the Training team, in an effort to identify staff learning needs, plan and implement appropriate interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of actions.

• Provide trainees and their supervisors with performance feedback, and conduct follow-up training as needed and requested.
• Participate in interdepartmental activities and represent Training through assigned committee work.
• Maintain professional and courteous relations with all TriWest staff and external contacts.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Working Conditions

o Availability to work non-regular hours as required
o Works within a standard office environment, with minimal travel
o Extensive computer work with prolonged sitting

TriWest job postings typically include a salary range, which can vary based on the specific role and location, but generally this position ranges from around $60,000 to $66,000 per year.
