Controls & I/O Technicians will work with controls engineers and larger technical team to maintain and improve the controls and instrumentation aspects of our dry pet food site. The 24x7 continuous operation has an Allen-Bradley controls backbone with a variety of versions (SLC500, CompactLogix, ControlLogix) including both ladder and structured text. Large programming projects are not in scope, but a thorough understanding of the interaction between controls and instrumentation is key. Ability to use a meter and read an electrical print are essential. Willingness to communicate and teach others is a necessity.
